What "Ratio" Really Means
Being "ratioed" on social media means your tweet or post has significantly more replies than likes — indicating people disagree with or dislike your take. On Twitter especially, a reply with more engagement than the OP is called a "ratio." It's become a verb: "I got ratioed." Community notes on Twitter, quote tweets, and comment sections are all arenas where ratios occur. Being ratioed is essentially a public signal of community disapproval.
